It can be difficult to clean your pool thoroughly. Algae may be growing, leaves and debris may be cluttering your pool, and it can be hard to see where the murky water ends and where your pool walls begin. Fortunately, when it comes time to restore your pool to a sparkling blue colour, the process isn't that difficult, provided that you have the right equipment and supplies for the job.
The first thing you'll need for cleaning your pool is access to basic cleaning tools, including a pool pole, a leaf rake, a brush, and a pool vacuum. The pole and rakes can be used to remove leaves and large chunks of debris from the pool without difficulty, while the vacuum can handle anything smaller and harder to handle. Better yet, you can even find robotic pool vacuum cleaners, which can automatically remove small debris from your pool as it begins to pile up, keeping it cleaner for longer. Once you've removed the debris floating in the water, the brush can be used to scrape off anything stuck on the walls of the pool, restoring the shine to your pool walls.
After you have cleaned the water and pool walls of dirt and debris, you'll probably need to rebalance the chemicals in the water to restore its blue tint. Thankfully, that's a simple process, as you only need to test the water and add the required chemicals to the pool. If you are struggling with that process, you can bring a sample of your pool water to our stores, and our team would be happy to test that sample for you and provide expert advice on how to best clean your pool.
